I believe home ownership is still a dream that most Americans share. We strongly desire it and most are even still willing to work for their home. In recent years however, many people have watched their dream vanish before their eyes for one reason or another and many are left asking…Is the American Dream Gone for Good?

So what of that question about the American Dream being gone? The answer is – Absolutely not! Are things pretty tough in America right now? Of course it is! It is no secret that many Americans are losing their homes rapidly for a variety of reasons. Should we then just give up and toss in the towel on our dream? Giving up is most certainly NOT the American way. Let us never forget that we Americans are at our best during times of difficulty and great challenges.

As a Real Estate Investor, I see people everyday who are struggling and in need of some assistance. Can I solve all the worlds problems and prevent everyone from losing their homes? No! But what I can do is try and help those families in a number of different ways with their housing needs. My point? That where there is adversity, there is also opportunity. Many people today are seeing an opportunity to become “Successful” at House Flipping in order to make a lot of quick money. Does that opportunity exist today? Yes it does, but I want to urge everyone to think about the above quote by Albert Einstein before they think of the money.

It is far better to be a person of value by adding value to other peoples lives. By living in service to others, we elevate our own value. In this way, we need not seek out “Success”, for it will find us on its own.
